The British Empire Panels of Sir Frank Brangwyn R.A. and preparatory drawings and studies in the Guildhall, Swansea.

This book is about the British Empire Panels of Sir Frank Brangwyn, which now decorates the Assembly Hall which bears the artist’s name in Swansea’s Guildhall.  It was prepared by the late Mr. David Bell, former curator, and includes an introduction which tells the history of the Panels, gives a short account of the artist’s life and work, and describes the Panels themselves.  The booklet was published around 1960.

The book has 16 pages, plus 12 colour and monochrome plates showing the panels and some of the detail held within.
